3. Licence and Access

Louise Lindberg Pastry grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to access and use the website and its content strictly in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Your purchase of a Digital Recipe, Course, or Membership grants you a personal, non-commercial licence to access and use that content for your own learning and enjoyment only. This licence is non-transferable and does not permit reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any kind.

If you violate any of these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to cancel your account or suspend access without notice.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

  • License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the website, recipes or content, or make the platform available to any third party.
  • Modify, make derivative works of, or reverse engineer any part of the website.
  • Remove, alter or obscure any proprietary notice (including any copyright or trademark notice) of Louise Lindberg Pastry.
  • Record, screenshot, download, or otherwise copy any course videos, recipes, written content or other materials available through the website, except authorised downloads we provide (such as PDF guides and printable recipes), which you may download and print for your personal use.

5. Payment

If you register for any of our recurring payment plans, you agree to pay all fees or charges in accordance with the billing terms in effect at the time that each fee or charge is due and payable. Our recurring payment plans include the Recipe Membership (available on a monthly or annual basis).

To sign up for a recurring plan, you must provide a valid payment method accepted by our payment processors, Stripe or PayPal. By providing your payment information, you agree that Louise Lindberg Pastry is authorised to verify your details immediately and subsequently charge your account for all fees due. No additional notice or consent is required for recurring charges. You agree to immediately notify Louise Lindberg Pastry of any change in your billing address or payment method.

We accept payment by credit and debit card (processed by Stripe) and via PayPal. PayPal payments are subject to PayPal’s own terms and conditions. Louise Lindberg Pastry does not store your full card details — all payment data is handled securely by our payment processors.

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and are inclusive of VAT. No additional VAT will be added at checkout.

Louise Lindberg Pastry reserves the right to change its prices and billing methods at any time. For recurring subscriptions, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price changes before they take effect.

No contract will exist between you and Louise Lindberg Pastry for the Service until Louise Lindberg Pastry accepts your order by a confirmatory email or other appropriate means of communication.

Any costs incurred in the collection of overdue undisputed amounts shall be the responsibility of the customer.

6. Digital Content — Immediate Access and Right of Withdrawal

All products sold on this website are digital in nature, including Digital Recipes, Online Courses, and Recipe Memberships.

Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a purchase. However, this right does not apply to digital content once it has been made available, where you have given your prior express consent to receive the digital content before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

Where applicable, customers are asked during checkout to expressly consent to immediate access to their purchase and acknowledge that their right of withdrawal ends once access begins.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. This does not affect your statutory rights where a remedy is required by applicable law (see Section 7 below).

7. Refunds and Statutory Rights

Our general policy is that we do not offer refunds once digital content has been made available and the required consent has been given at checkout, as described in Section 6, except where required by applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer law. In particular, where a refund, repair, replacement, price reduction, or other remedy is required by law (for example, where digital content is faulty or does not conform to the description), we will provide the appropriate remedy.

If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from accessing content you have purchased, please contact us at hello@louiselindbergpastry.com. We will investigate and work to resolve the issue promptly. Where a technical problem on our side cannot be resolved within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a remedy under applicable consumer law.

Recipe Membership cancellation

You may cancel your Recipe Membership at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until that date. No refund is issued for the remaining days of the current billing period, except where required by applicable law.

You may also pause your membership instead of cancelling — this suspends both billing and access for the selected period. Access and billing resume automatically when the pause period ends.

One-time purchases (Digital Recipes and Courses)

Digital Recipes and Course purchases grant you ongoing access to that specific content. These are not subject to a recurring subscription and cannot be cancelled in the same way as a Membership.

8. Intellectual Property

The website and its entire contents, features and functionality — including all recipes, course videos, written materials, images, audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof — are owned by Louise Lindberg Pastry and are protected by Netherlands and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The material may not be copied, modified, reproduced, downloaded or distributed in any way, in whole or in part, without the express prior written permission of Louise Lindberg Pastry, unless expressly permitted in these Terms & Conditions. Any unauthorised use of the material is prohibited.

9. Account and Membership Rules

To purchase products or access membership content, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Membership access is personal and non-transferable. Sharing of login credentials is not permitted. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe credentials are being shared.

Please notify us immediately at hello@louiselindbergpastry.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

10. Your Suggestions

Any feedback, comments, ideas, improvements or suggestions provided by you to Louise Lindberg Pastry with respect to the website shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Louise Lindberg Pastry. We shall be free to use, copy, modify, publish, or redistribute such suggestions for any purpose without any credit or compensation to you.

11. Your Consent

By using our website, registering an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Consent for cookies and marketing communications is obtained separately in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Cookies

13. Links to Other Websites

These Terms & Conditions apply only to the Louise Lindberg Pastry website and Services. The website may contain links to other websites not operated or controlled by Louise Lindberg Pastry. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions expressed on such websites. When you use a link to go from our website to another website, these Terms & Conditions are no longer in effect and you are subject to that website’s own terms and policies.

14. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services: Stripe and PayPal (payment processing), Kit (email communications), Vimeo (course video hosting), and Google Analytics (website analytics). Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and terms.

Louise Lindberg Pastry shall not be responsible for any third-party services, including their accuracy, completeness, timeliness, validity, copyright compliance, legality, decency, or quality. Third-party services are provided solely as a convenience and you access and use them entirely at your own risk.

15. Changes to Terms and Discontinuation of Service

Louise Lindberg Pastry reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the website or any service, with or without notice. Where you have an active paid Membership purchase, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before discontinuing access to that specific content, and will offer a pro-rata refund for any unused paid period.

If we make material changes to these Terms & Conditions, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before the new terms take effect, for example by posting a notice on our website or by email. By continuing to use the website after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

We will also post any changes to these Terms & Conditions on this page and update the date at the top of the document.

16. Term and Termination

These Terms & Conditions shall remain in effect until terminated by you or Louise Lindberg Pastry.

Louise Lindberg Pastry may, at any time, suspend or terminate your access if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms & Conditions, or for any other legitimate reason with or without prior notice.

You may terminate your agreement with us at any time by closing your account or cancelling your subscription through your account dashboard.

Upon termination, you shall cease all use of the website and any content accessed under the terminated account or subscription. Termination does not limit any of Louise Lindberg Pastry’s rights or remedies in case of breach.

17. Copyright Infringement Notice

If you are a copyright owner or such owner’s agent and believe any material on our website constitutes an infringement of your copyright, please contact us providing: (a) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or an authorised person; (b) identification of the material claimed to be infringing; (c) your contact information including email address; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner; and (e) a statement that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Copyright notices should be sent to: hello@louiselindbergpastry.com

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Louise Lindberg Pastry and its officers, employees, agents, partners and licensors (if any) harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of: (a) your use of the website; (b) your violation of these Terms & Conditions or any law or regulation; or (c) your violation of any right of a third party.

19. No Warranties

The website is provided to you “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Louise Lindberg Pastry expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

Louise Lindberg Pastry makes no representation or warranty that: (i) the website will be uninterrupted or error-free; (ii) any information or content provided through the website is accurate, reliable or current; or (iii) the website or emails sent on behalf of Louise Lindberg Pastry are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including any rights you may have in relation to digital content that is not of satisfactory quality or does not conform to its description.

Some EU member states do not allow the exclusion of or limitations on implied warranties or statutory consumer rights, so some or all of the above may not apply to you.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the entire liability of Louise Lindberg Pastry under any provision of these Terms & Conditions shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Louise Lindberg Pastry shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever, including damages for loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury, arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the website, even if Louise Lindberg Pastry has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Some EU member states may not permit certain limitations of liability — in such cases, these limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by the law of your country of residence.

21. Typographical Errors

If a product or service is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. If your payment has already been processed and your order is cancelled for this reason, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

23. Waiver

The failure of Louise Lindberg Pastry to exercise or enforce any right or provision under these Terms & Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. No single or partial exercise of any right or power shall preclude further exercise of that or any other right.

26. Governing Law and Disputes

Louise Lindberg Pastry reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before the new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our website after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

24. Amendments to This Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Louise Lindberg Pastry concerning your use of the website and Services, and supersede all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at hello@louiselindbergpastry.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will respond within 15 business days.
