I’m a huge Bounty fan, so I thought it would be a fun project to convert this classic snack into a cake.
The final result is the most amazing chocolate coconut cake, which is basically one big piece of Bounty!
It has several layers with both chocolate and coconut, fudgy, crispy, creamy and airy textures, and a Bounty-inspired cake design.
So if you love the classic Bounty snack, I think you’re going to love this one!
Happy baking <3

For extra guidance while baking, watch my step-by-step video tutorial, where I show you how to make the cake from start to finish:
Day 1
Dark Chocolate Brownie with Milk Chocolate:
- 100 g dark chocolate (ideally min. 60%)
- 100 g butter
- 100 g caster sugar
- 125 g eggs (approx. 2.5 medium eggs)
- 0.5 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 75 g milk chocolate (33%) (roughly chopped)
- a pinch of salt
- Chop the dark chocolate (100 g).
- Slowly melt the butter in a small saucepan (the butter must not be too hot, as this can seize the chocolate afterwards). Put the saucepan on low heat and add the chocolate. Stir until all the chocolate has melted.
