There’s nothing that says fall quite like a pumpkin spice latte! These Pumpkin Spice Latte Mini Cakes are my interpretation of the beloved autumn drink, transformed into cute little pumpkin-shaped cakes with warm pumpkin spices, coffee, pecans, and cream cheese.

To recreate the flavors of a classic pumpkin spice latte, I wanted to make sure the warm pumpkin spices and pumpkin flavor really shine through, which is why I’ve incorporated pumpkin purée or pumpkin spice into most of the layers.

Since a pumpkin spice latte is, after all, a coffee-based drink, I also wanted the cakes to have a pronounced coffee flavor, contrasted slightly by the nutty flavor of pecans and balanced by the rich cream cheese, which resembles the whipped cream elements of the classic drink.

Together, these flavors make the cakes taste just like drinking a pumpkin spice latte!

Don’t worry if you don’t have this exact pumpkin mold. You can make the cakes in any mold you might have available, as long as it has similar dimensions (see the Essential Equipment section for more details). I hope you’ll love this recipe as much as I do!

Pumpkin Spice Mix:

NOTE: I recommend making your own pumpkin spice mix for the best flavor. You can also use this mix in many other pastries, desserts, and drinks, such as pumpkin spice lattes.
